The return of Syracuse basketball lookalikes is in full effect after a long hiatus. Today, we highlight Mookie (Todd) Jones and current Miami Heat player Shawn Marion. I call Mr. Jones by his middle name as well because that's what he goes by on Facebook, and dammit if you can't fully trust a man's Facebook then what would the world be coming too? I think the Mookster looks a lot like the Matrix for a variety of reasons. Both in the 6-6 range, both semi-pale skinned, and also their general facial structure. Now, it's no secret that Mookie hasn't exactly had the greatest Freshman year. However, we all have to remember there's still a lot of time for the young fella to develop. Here's hoping he sticks around long enough to find that potential.
For now, Jimmy and the squad will have to look forward to the rest of the year without the services of Mookie, as he obviously isn't in the plans to play in any meaningful Big East minutes. One can only wonder what is really growing through Jones' mind as he sits and sits, all while taking up one precious year of eligibility.
