'Cuse-ND quick thought

...It is a good thing you are good at basketball. Yikes.

We have already established that Luke Harangody is not attractive. But now it's game time. Notre Dame is coming off of an overtime loss to Louisville, which definitely made me think that we can and should get this one, despite recent history against the Irish. Sure, Harangody had 24 points, many of them jump shots (not down low), but his defense sucked. Badly. Terrence Williams had position on Harangody the entire game, and Harangody eventually fouled out. Between the two Cardinal forwards Terrence Williams and Samardo Samuels, the duo scored 42 points against Harangody. 42. Out of 87. Big daddy Arinze can definitely get Lukey in foul trouble, but Onuaku HAS to hustle tomorrow. He can't jog back and forth. Notre Dame is such a tough matchup because if you run the zone to shut down Harangody, you obviously have McAlarny to shoot the lights out. Now, don't get me wrong. I'm not trying to say this is a gimmie by any means at all. I think Syracuse definitely can win this game, and at home after the lackluster Georgetown performance I feel like they should win. Rautins has been said to be good to go. Everything is there for us to have a solid bounce back from the disaster that was last Wednesday night.
